The magic of sports bras

Firstly a money saving idea.

You know those annoying 1,2 and 5 euro cent coins that annoy everyone. Yeah if you’re saving up for a binder/packer or anything really these cents are now your best friend. This is how I saved up for several of my tattoos. Collect every 1,2,5 cent in a jar. Go out of your way to find them. Pick them up off the ground, search your house, search under the sofa cushions. Also, I know my parents hate having copper coins weighing down purse/wallet so I asked them to collect them in a jar and I’d take them off their hands. [This was part of my allowance/pocket money]. After a few months when you have a decent amount saved it’s time to start counting. I know several shops like Spar and Tesco have those machines where you dump your change in and got your cash. But those machines take ten or fifteen per cent. So count your change yourself/get a friend to help. Bag them in money bags then take them to the bank and they will exchange the coins for cash. Like I said this is how I scraped together the money for a few of my tattoos and it only took two, three months.

So sports bras work wonders.

If like me you are blessed with an A cup or even smaller then an A cup a two-euro sports bra in Penneys/Primark will do the job. Yes, seriously. I was successfully stealth in college for a year and all I had was a two euro sports bra from Pennys.

But if you are a B or C cup the more expensive, good quality sports bras are the way to go. And I’m going to make your life easier and link you.

Both of these shops have store finders.

And yes I am aware this are just as expensive as a binder. But while your parents might refuse to buy you a binder I think they are much more likely to say yes to a sports bra.

Tell them your taking up jogging, you need it for p.e., you want to get into sports, your back aches and you need the extra support. Or just tell them you really want a decent sports bra. It’s a perfectly reasonable request!

Now the key is to wear the right kind of clothes with them.

Put on the sports bra then a tight tank-top/muscle shirt then a long sleeved-shirt then a regular tee over this. This is Ireland lads you’re not going to be too warm.

On the off-chance that Ireland has managed to warm up a bit. Sports-bra plus tank top plus a check shirt.

If one sports bra doesn’t work for you try wearing two. Anymore then that and you’re getting into dangerous territory.

Remember stay safe.

If the sports bra method does not work for you please do not resort to bandages or duct tape. These are dangerous. That can’t be said enough.
